Hi, I'm Kevin. I built Raw Honey Project to prove that something sweet doesn't have to wreck your body.

How it started

A massive sweet tooth

Growing up, I had a massive sweet tooth. Ice cream, cookies, chocolate, cinnamon buns, and especially Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (I was obsessed). I actually tried to live off of ice cream for a week while in college (not joking).

Age 21

Everything changed overnight

At 21, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and the foods I loved became the foods that wrecked me. Most sweets are loaded with refined sugar, additives, gums, and fillers I couldn't pronounce — and they were destroying my gut.

For years, I really struggled with my health and hit my personal rock bottom.

Eating Clean

On my journey, I eventually learned that eating clean unprocessed whole foods was the key to good health. I took back control of my health, and embraced this new way of living.

Then I discovered real raw honey

Raw honey was something my body actually loved. It's packed with natural benefits — but on its own, the taste still wasn't a real replacement for dessert. Not to my sweet tooth, anyway.

Just me and my kitchen

So I started mixing raw honey with different ingredients at home — dark chocolate, cinnamon, whatever I had — just trying to recreate the feeling of dessert again without paying for it later. Those little experiments are what sparked Raw Honey Project.

If I could turn raw honey into a clean, better-for-you treat, other people could satisfy their sweet tooth guilt-free too.

The Mission

I spent years feeling like I had to choose between enjoying dessert and protecting my health. Now I get to create treats that let you have both — and share them with people who want the same thing: simplicity, honesty, and something sweet that actually feels good to eat.

Why Raw Honey

Most honey is cooked to death.

Bees make it perfect

Real raw honey naturally has antioxidants, enzymes, pollen, and even prebiotics that support your gut microbiome. Straight from the hive, it's already kind of magic.

Most brands cook it

But most honey on shelves is overheated to 160–170°F, which destroys the very benefits that make raw honey special. Even plenty of "unfiltered raw" honeys are overheated — and you'd never know from the label.

We keep it under 105°F

Our USA raw honey is gently warmed below 105°F — just enough to make it easy to work with — while preserving the natural qualities raw honey is known for.
